Massage Therapy

I have been a registered massage therapist for almost 6 years! Working in Calgary assisting people of all walks of life gain greater freedom in their bodies and minds, leading to greater quality of life. 

What the massage looks like differs a lot depending on what the person is needing and wanting in the moment. With balancing the systems in mind, the treatment can be very gentle and relaxing, or very deep/forceful and corrective. 

What is performed is always within the patients comfort level.

Chinese Medicine

I am almost finished my third year of four, of a Doctor of TCM/Acupuncture program. Chinese medicine is now the frame of reference that i use for treatment, as well as for personal cultivation. 

The tools i use are acupuncture, Tui Na (TCM acupressure massage) and herbal medicine.

Therapeutic Exercise

With each session i will offer ideas and exercises (stretches, strengthening, breathing etc.), that will aid in bringing the body mind back into balance. The living self uses systems of push and pull to keep us moving. I use what i learn during the session to create and offer movements that if completed, will lead to long term correcting of imbalances and increased quality of living.

Yoga and Qi Gong

I have practiced on and off Yoga and Qi Gong for more years than i have not. These systems of holistic healing are supreme ways of bringing ourselves back into balance. 

After treatments, or as treatments, i can guide you into using different movements to correct the imbalances that come from every day life, or that have come from serious sickness, injury, dysfunction or unique congenital expression.
